Hebrews 12:4 "In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood." Christians have to deal with tough issues everyday of their lives. It's soo sad what all is out there that is trying to drag teen's down in this world today. It is a tough battle, but by relying on God, he will get you through, so trust in the Lord!!!

You're right! We have to face terrible things today. It seems that this generation has lost touch with morality. I can attest to the fact that temptations are an everyday part of life. I strongly agree with the antidote you suggested, "Trust in the Lord."

100% with ya there. Trust in the Lord. And whatever you do, don't try to make things work your way. LOL, I know from many experiences God's way is always best.

well... ok.... but it's not like christians are the only people who have to deal with tough issues everyday... so do atheists, jews, muslims, hindus, secular humanists, wiccans, etc... dude, everyone has to deal with tough issues every day. that's life. especially for teens.
if relying on god makes you feel better, good for you. but god wants you to help yourself, riiiiiight? so.... what i suggest is: when you're feeling life dragging you down, think about it. talk to your friends. analyze... try and make yourself feel better. then you can thank god for... you know... giving you the strength to do it yourself.

Galations 12:9 (An excerpt Niv) My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
